Q3 2026: Smarter Goals, Faster Analysis, and Clearer Workflows

Platform Feature Updates

This quarter, BlastPoint focused on making everyday analysis easier to understand, faster to navigate, and more dependable from insight to action.

Across the Platform, you’ll find richer Goal tracking, a clearer way to build Segments, more flexible downloads, more intuitive comparisons, and easier ways to organize connected work. Here’s what’s new.

Give every Goal more context

Goals now do more than show whether a metric moved. Teams can add annotations directly to a Goal’s progress chart, creating a record of the campaigns, outreach, operational changes, or outside events that may have influenced the result. Annotations can be created, edited, and reviewed alongside the chart, making it easier to connect movement in the data with what happened in the real world.

Goals also fit more naturally into the rest of your work. You can organize them inside Projects, measure progress by percentage or member count, and start tracking from any available Audience refresh date. Clearer charts, more precise labels, safer setup warnings, and better recovery options help prevent a Goal from getting stuck or starting with data that cannot support meaningful progress tracking.

Build Segments with fewer surprises

The refreshed Segment Builder puts the most useful context next to your rules as you work. A live Audience Preview shows how many Audience Members match, while the new Summary view gives you a readable check of the rules you’ve applied.

Rules are easier to duplicate, validate, and review. When editing an existing Segment, you can also see which Goals, Automations, Maps, and Explorations depend on it before you save a change. That means less backtracking and more confidence that a Segment does exactly what you intended.

Compare insights more clearly

Exploration Overviews now make Channel Preferences and Social Media comparisons easier to scan. Each compared Segment gets its own consistent color, so you can see how groups differ without repeatedly cross-referencing labels and charts.

We also made long analyses easier to navigate and share. Attribute category headers now act as shortcuts, print layouts include the full analysis instead of only what is visible on screen, and group-level Select All and Deselect All controls make it faster to shape an Exploration.

Export the data you actually need

Historical downloads are now more flexible. When you download an Audience or Segment snapshot, a configurator lets you choose the Attributes, rename the file, and decide whether coded values should appear as readable labels or raw codes.

Just as importantly, the available Attributes reflect what existed at the time of that snapshot. This preserves the historical context of the data instead of mixing it with today’s Audience configuration.

Automations now offer the same choice between readable labels and raw codes for scheduled SFTP deliveries and snapshot CSVs. New Automations default to labels, while existing Automations keep their previous behavior unless you change it.

Keep work organized across the Platform

Navigation is easier to scan, with related workflows grouped together and supporting resources collected in the account menu. Projects also became more useful as a home for connected work: Segments, Goals, Maps, Explorations, and Automations can be added, moved, or removed from a Project directly from their card menus.

Updated breadcrumbs make it easier to move between a Project and its contents, while improved privacy rules keep private Maps and Explorations visible only to the people who should see them.

Built for clearer decisions

These updates share one goal: help teams move from data to decisions with less friction. Whether you’re defining a Segment, explaining a change in Goal progress, preparing a historical export, or organizing connected work, the Platform now gives you more context and clearer feedback at each step.

We’ll keep building on that foundation in the months ahead. If you’d like help applying any of these capabilities to your work, contact your BlastPoint representative.
